You see all the signs from greek, Spanish and german commentators as to why the EU will cause problems for Europe as the current political cycle and expectations reach the next major cycle in 2020 and 2025. Britain walking away out of frustration for them not taking the common sense and honest approach means that if and when it gets painful they will say it all started ith Brexit and implicate the brits in their own stubborn problems.
